Lasik eye treatment and its effects

Lasik surgery is performed to treat eye conditions such as shortsightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism. The surgery involves reshaping the cornea of the eye so that light can enter the eye and can focus on retina for clear vision.

In Lasik surgery, the laser is used to reshape the cornea of the eye. Before using laser for reshaping the cornea area, a flap is cut to permit the use of laser. The creation of the flap is done by the use of micro blade. The flap is created in the cornea and it is thin circular in size. After creating a flap, the surgeon uses the laser to treat or reshape the area under the cornea flap. The laser uses a highly specializes ultra violet cool beam of light to remove the tissues from cornea. After this use of laser, the light focuses on the retina for clearer image.

To cure the shortsightedness, the cornea is flattened and for long sightedness, the steeper cornea is created. The cornea is made smooth from irregular shape to cure the astigmatism. The use of laser is part of the all types of Lasik treatments. In the laser treatment, the laser is used to create the flap from cornea and then laser is used to reshape the areas under cornea flap. The only difference between a Lasik treatment and laser treatment is that in latter the laser is to make the flap. In former the micro blade is used to create a flap. Rest of the surgery after flap creation is same in both surgeries.

Immediately after the surgery, the patient is suggested to rest for while. There may be burning sensation and itching in eyes.  There may also be come haziness and blur vision, which is temporary and will go next day.  Within next few days, the eye sight will continue to improve. The patient Laser Eye Surgery in Delhi should not engage in any strenuous physical activity for several days, as it would traumatize the eye. Doctor also recommends some drops for days after surgery. The success rate of the surgery is very high these days. Rarely the person may get some complications or side effects. The patients are able to get 20/20 vision after surgery. The vision rate may vary and some get only 20/40/ or less. The need for reading glasses may still be there for patents but the number will be drastically low than before the surgery.

The rare side effects are night glares, which are halos or starbursts visible in the presence of light, and infection. These patients then go for enhancement surgery to achieve the desired results few months after the first surgery. This is also knows as just patch up procedures.  The use of Lasik Treatment Delhi modern technology and equipments has increased the success rate of eye surgery.  The surgery is performed on one eye at a time. In case both eyes need treatment, then the difference of few months is kept between two surgeries.

Know Their Benefits and Limitations before Committing to Lasik Laser Procedures

Lasik procedures mostly have life changing effects on the patients by treating different vision related complications. Lasik laser surgical procedures are often considered to be one of the most successful vision correction procedures with more than 92 to 99% success rate.

Although, the lasik laser procedures are considered to be one of the most successful vision correction procedures but it is also association with some limitation. Limitation and benefits of the lasik laser surgical procedures are discussed in this blog.

By reshaping the cornea of the eye through lasik beam, the normal vision of patients is restored through lasik laser surgical procedures.  One of the primary benefits associated with the lasik laser surgical procedures is that the procedure can be performed to any individuals and is known for proven for correcting vision in most cases. Very little to no pain is associated with lasik laser surgical procedures to correct vision.

Almost immediate vision correction within a day is associated with lasik laser surgical procedures. Quick recovery is also associated with the lasik laser surgical procedures. Usually no bandages are required after the lasik laser surgical procedures conducted at multi-specialty hospitals in Delhi.

As per recent studies, it was reported that about 50, 000 successful lasik procedures were carried out in last 10 years in Delhi, for treatment of different vision related complications. Performed by the best lasik surgeons, Lasik Treatment Delhi don’t require stitches.

Another advantage of lasik laser surgical procedures besides having high success and quick recovery is that adjustment can be made years after laser lasik surgical procedures for the purpose of further correcting vision. No vision corrective lens or eyewear is needed after the successful correction of vision through lasik laser surgical procedures.

Some of disadvantages associated with lasik laser surgical procedures are that changes made through lasik laser surgical procedures to the cornea cannot be reversed after the laser lasik surgical procedures.

No other surgical procedures can be used for vision correction after the lasik laser surgical procedures. Only correction can be made through additional LASIK laser surgical procedures. Surgical procedures of the lasik laser are considered to be very complex and hence any problems may occur when unqualified or unskillful doctor cuts the flaps.

Damages can be permanent and can permanently affect the vision of individuals. Same cases of Eye Treatment Delhi India with lasik laser surgical were associated with causing a loss of “best” vision with or without glasses at least one year after the lasik laser surgical procedures.

Many doctors and associated with the lasik laser surgical procedures reported that some possible side effects are associated with the laser lasik surgical procedures. It was reported that some patients within 48 hour of the lasik laser surgical procedures experience slight discomfort. Seeing halos around images is another side effect associated with the lasik laser surgical procedures.

Lasik surgery and types of Lasik eye surgeries

Lasik   surgery is performed to correct the vision of the eye. The various vision problems like short sightedness, long sightedness and astigmatism can be corrected by the one of any Lasik surgeries.  These surgeries are performed by the eye surgeons. Before the selection of surgery for the patient, the health of the patient, eye conditions and level of problem is taken into account. The eye drops are put into the eye for keeping them numb during the operation process. Local anesthesia is also given. The basic operation of the Lasik surgery is to create a flap, and then create the area beneath the flap for correcting the vision.  In Lasik surgery with laser only, the laser is used to create the flap but in other Lasik surgeries the micro blade is used to cut the flap. The flap is then kept aside the underneath area is treated or reshaped by laser. The user of laser to reshape the area is common in all Lasik surgeries .The use of blade in cutting flap is the only difference major difference between laser and non laser Lasik surgeries.

After reshaping the inner cornea areas by laser, the flap is put back for natural healing process to take over. During this part of the surgery, the eye detection device keeps track of the eye movement to ensure the precise correction. After placing flap back on the place, the protective layer is put on the eye for preventing accidental rubbing of the eye. The patient can go home in same day. But have to take certain precautions during the recovery period .The surgeon may prescribe some drop and precaution for few initial days after surgery .The actual time spent on the Lasik surgery is only five minutes. The patient does not have to stay in hospital for the surgery. The patient can go back home immediately after surgery.

Lasik is the most commonly LASIK Eye Surgery Delhi  performed surgery and is prescribed for eye vision correction. This surgery gives little pain and sight is restore within short period of time .Here, the fine blade is used to make the cornea flap. Laser is also used in some eye centre to create the flap. The use of laser gives consistent cornea flap and thin cornea person also can get the Lasik surgery.

There are other types of Lasik surgeries. In custom Lasik, the surgeon, customizes the laser treatment for individual eye. In wave front technology surgery, the use of laser according to the unique attributes of the eye of the patient. The laser in this surgery corrects individual visual issues.

The risk associated with Laser Eye Surgery in Delhi various Lasik surgeries can be over correction, under correction, dry eyes, halos, especially at night, and some kind of irritation. In case of over correction and under correction, the second surgery is performed but rests of the issues are temporarily and happen during recovery period.

Types of Lasik treatment and cases in which Lasik is not effective

Lasik is given to help a person to get rid of near sightedness, long sightedness and astigmatism.  Lasik can also reduce the need for prescription glass and contact lens.  There are different types of Lasik surgeries. All of Lasik surgeries involve the use of laser. The laser is used to treat the area below the corneal flap.

No two eyes are same. The doctor decides the correct surgery method for the patient based on eye examination. In wave front guided Lasik; the detail measurement of the curvature of the patient’s cornea is done. This is done to preserve the natural aspheric shape of an eye’s front surface. This help to reduce the spherical aberration that might happen with other Lasik refractive surgery

In the topography guided Lasik, the laser is programmed to address the problems of vision caused by scares of cornea and other abnormalities of the front surface of the eye.

In all laser Lasik, the laser is used to create the cornea flap unlike other Lasik surgeries, where the blade is used to create the flap. Here, the pulses of light are passed back and forth through eye to create the flap, and treat the surface beneath the flap .This type of Lasik gives accurate flap with uniform thickness.  This type of surgery is also called bladeless surgery, because the blade is not used to create the flap.

There are some cases in which the Lasik surgery of any kind may not prove effective. These cases can be severe cases of refractive error. In high level of near sightedness, long sightedness and astigmatism, Lasik may not provide full correct vision and surgeon cannot take the risk of surgery. Also the persons below 19 years of age are not given the Lasik treatment. This is because their vision is changing. Before the Lasik treatment, the vision should be stable at least for two years LASIK Eye Surgery Delhi before the person is given Lasik surgery. Dry eyes will take longer to heal after the surgery. The surgeon will decide the level of dryness of the eye and whether surgery can be conducted on the patient.

Any eye problem such as cataract, infection, advanced glaucoma, eye issues caused by diabetes can also affect the chances of having Lasik surgery. The people will large pupil can have some issue with vision after the Lasik surgery. These issues can range from double images, night glares, haloes and ghost images .The other problems like rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and vascular diseases Lasik Treatment Delhi can also affect the healing process after any Lasik surgery.  The people who are using antidepressant drugs or steroids may also see slow or ineffective recovery after Lasik surgery.

Patients must consult an expert surgeon before deciding for any surgery. The doctor will be in best position to decide the course of treatment for the patient.

Lasik treatment and its long term results

Lasik is the laser surgery which is used to treat nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. With the lasik procedures that the cornea is reshaped to allow the light enter the eye to properly focus on retina for clear vision .The time taken by Lasik surgery is just within half an hour. The patient can get the result within 24 hours.

During the Lasik surgery, the surgeon first creates a flab, which is circular thin, in cornea. This flab is folded aside to access the underlying cornea. The laser is used at this place to cure the cornea issues. This laser is highly specialized cool ultraviolet   beam of light. This laser is used to remove the microscopic amounts of tissues from the cornea. After this treatment, the light gets focused on the retina for improved vision. In case of nearsighted cases, the cornea is flattening. For farsighted cases, the steeper cornea is desired. The laser also treats astigmatism by smoothing irregular cornea into normal shape.

After the laser treatment of the cornea, the flap is put back on the place where the corneal tissue was removed. The natural healing process is allowed to take place and heal the cornea. Local anesthetic drops are used during the Lasik process. The lasik surgery does not require any stitches or bandages.

Before the Lasik treatment, LASIK Eye Surgery Delhi the doctor has to make sure that eye is healthy enough for the treatment. The shape and thickness of cornea is also evaluated before the surgery.  The surgeon will ensure that eye is moist before surgery to avoid the dry eye condition after surgery. Some burning or itching sensation occurs immediately after the surgery. But these are temporary conditions and improvement in vision will occur within hours after the treatment. Doctors restricts patient from strenuous exercises for few day to avoid putting pressure on eyes .The patient comes to see the surgeon after few days after surgery. Then doctors will decide whether person is free to drive or do normal activities without any precautions. The person has to follow the suggestion of the surgeon. Some medication may also be prescribed for few days after the surgery.

Success rate of Lasik surgery Lasik Treatment Delhi  is very high and people are able to get 20/20 vision after the surgery. Some people need glass and contact lens after surgery. But the prescription level of the glasses will be significantly lower than the number before the surgery. In rare cases, some complications may occur after the Lasik surgery. The case of infection, night glare, halos happen after surgery though they are not common. The Lasik enhancement procedures are given after few month of the Lasik surgery. Some old people may still need reading glass even after Lasik surgery, but that is more due to age related loss of vision then due to any defect in the Lasik treatment.

Types of Laser Eye Surgeries Used in India

Laser surgery is done to correct the vision issues like astigmatism, farsightedness and nearsightedness. Laser eye surgeries are also done by persons to remove dependence on glasses. Before deciding about any eye surgery, the person should consult the doctor to check the eye conditions and know which type of surgery would suite the person. A person should also know if he or she is a candidate for eye surgery.

Many surgeries are performed with the laser. In lasik surgery, the laser is used to reshape the cornea to correct the vision.  The under lined corneal tissue is reshaped to focus light into the eye and onto the retina.  In this surgery the flab is made in the outer layer of the cornea to access the underlying tissue.  This surgery is also done with help of computer imaging called wave front technology, in which detail image of cornea is used as guide for treatment.

In PRK, photorefractive keratectomy, surgery, the use of laser is done to correct moderate degree of astigmatism, nearsightedness and farsightedness. Like Lasik surgery, here also the laser is used to reshape the cornea. But the difference is that in this surgery the laser is used on the surface of the cornea, not under the flab of cornea. This surgery can also be done with the computer image of the cornea.

The lasek surgery has some resemblance with Laser Eye Surgery in Delhi   the PRK surgery. In this surgery, an epithellai cells are treated with alcohol to loosen them before creating flab. The laser is used to reshape the cornea. The flab is then replaced and covered with soft contact lens for healing.

The RLE, refractive lens exchange, surgery is like the surgery done to remove cataracts. In this surgery a small incision is made at the edge of the cornea. Then natural lens of the eye is removed and a silicon or plastic lens is put in its place. This surgery is done to correct the extreme cases of farsightedness or nearsightedness. For curing astigmatism issue, the Lasik procedure can be combined with this surgery. Often the people with dry eyes, thin cornea or any minor issue related to cornea are given RLE surgery.

EPILASIK is used to separate Eye Treatment Delhi India a thin cell layer from cornea to reshape the internal cornea with laser. The thin cell layer can be replaced or left according to the procedure of the surgery selected. Laser treated area is the covered with soft contact lens for healing.  The success rate of all these surgeries is more than 98 %. Person can take these surgeries as outpatient and don’t need hospitalization.  The patients have shown improvemts in vision after few days of treatment.  In rare cases, the issues of overcorrection or under correction, infection may occur. Sometimes the desired results may not come from one surgery and another surgery is required, but again the cases of this nature are very rare.

Types and features of contact lens

Contact lens can correct the nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Contact lenses are normally used by the people, who do not want to wear glasses.   For some it is part of their style statement. Contact lens can also give better vision for sports.

Broadly, contact lens are divided on the bases of the material of which they are made .Soft lens are made from the gel like plastic contain water, called hydro gels.  These types of lens cover the entire cornea.  The silicon hydrogel are the advanced type of soft contact lens that gives more oxygen to the eyes than normal soft contact lens.

GP contact lenses are made from rigid water less plastic. They are also called oxygen permeable lens .These lenses are used for high astigmatism. They are smaller in diameter and have sharper vision than soft lens. Hard lens are made from also from rigid plastic knows as PAMMA. This type of lens does not transmit oxygen to the eye.   However, these lenses are not used these days as they have been replaced by GP contact lens. Hybrid contact lens have rigid optical center made of GP lens material, which is surrounded by soft material for comfort in wearing. Use of any contact lens should depend on the consultation with an eye specialist. The proper checking of the eyes must be done before uses of any lens.

Color contact lenses are used by persons to enhance the natural color of the eyes. Some person may want to highlight the green color of their eyes, or make them darker. The color contact lens can also change the color of the eye completely. Bifocal contact lenses are used to correct astigmatism and presbyopia.  If a person has dry eyes due to use of certain contact lens, he or she can use the soft lens to reduce the dry eye symptoms while wearing contact lens. Prosthetic contact lenses are used only in case of damaged eye, or loss of eye.

The main aim in Eye Hospital in noida use of prosthetic lens is to mask the appearance of the damaged eye or to match its appearance with the other normal eye. These lenses are used only for medical purposes. Custom contact lens eyes are customer made according to the eye size and vision need of the person.  UV protecting lens are used just to prevent the harmful effect of ultraviolet rays on eyes. Person with eye vulnerable to cataract and other eye issues can wear this type of contact lens. But these lenses do not cover the entire eye, so the user still has to use the sun glasses. Special effect contact lens can be used to change the look of the person and give some special effect to eyes, like cat or vampire like appearance. Myopia contact lens Contact Lenses Solution in Noida can be used for kids to stop the progress of astigmatism.

Laser Eye Surgery Procedures and its Effects

Laser is used to reshape the surface of the eye to improve or correct myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism. During the laser surgery, the computer controlled excimer laser is used to remove the microscopic amounts of tissues from the cornea of the eye. The aim of the laser treatment is to help a person to get to see clearly without the need for glasses or contact lens.

In use of lasers, some procedures are different from others. It is this difference which gives different name to laser surgeries. Actually, almost all surgeries involve use of laser for treatment. In a common procedure, a laser known as femtosecond laser is used to create a thin flab of cornea tissues, which is then lifted out of the way. The excimer laser is then used to reshape the underlying tissue. The flab is then replaced to cover the newly reshaped area. Even when a blade is used to create a flab of the cornea, the use of laser remains to reshape the cornea. In PPK surgery, thin layer of cornea is removed and then laser is used to reshape the underlying cornea.

Use of excimer laser is considered very cool since it does not burn any tissues but only vaporizes the small part of the cornea where it is projected. The diameter of the laser and number of pulses are carefully controlled by the computer so that the cornea surface can be reshaped. The procedures are performed after giving anesthesia eye drops and duration of the treatment is only 5 to 10 minutes for one eye. The time taken by laser to reshape the cornea surface is generally less than a minute.

Generally the surgeries Laser Eye Surgery in Delhi involving the use of laser are considered for those who do not want to use either contact lens or glasses. The other reason could be that they are doing kind of work, where use of glasses or contact lens is prohibited.  The use of laser surgery eliminates the need for wearing and maintaining contact lens. Any person wearing glasses or contact lens can have the laser treatment surgery, but there are some issues that need to be considered .A person who wants to have the laser surgery should be at least 20 years of age. The glasses prescription number should be stable. And he or she should not have any history of diabetic, uncontrolled rheumatic conditions and immune system disease.

If a person is not able Eye Treatment Delhi India to get the desired result, then surgery may be performed again. This lack of desired result may be due to over treatment or under treatment. Halos or blurred vision may appear in some patients after treatment. If eyes become dry after surgery then lubricating drops are used. Some persons report extreme sensitivity to glare. Cases of infection are rare, but can occur. Regression, return of previous cases of vision problem, is the other rare side effect of the surgery.

The Number of Eye Surgeries Performed With Laser

Eye laser treatment is a general name that is given to the number of surgeries that are performed on eye with laser. Lasik surgery, PRK, LASEK and EPI LASIK is some of the surgeries that are done with laser. The aim of all these surgeries is to correct the refractive errors.   The laser which is used in these surgeries is called ‘excimer ‘. The procedures of the laser surgery, the duration of the recovery time and use of some surgical instruments may differ from surgery to surgery.   All the surgeries are not suitable for all patients.  One particular surgery may be more effective to a patient than others. It is the doctor who is the best person to decide, which particular surgery can be performed on a patient.  The decision to select a particular surgery will depend on the best result, which can come from the surgery.

Lasik is the common eye surgery. In this surgery a flap is made in the cornea by laser or a blade. After reshaping the cornea flab is put back to the same place. The use of laser to create flab is considered more precise and accurate with fewer chances of complications. The cost of this surgery with laser may be more than the cost of surgery without laser use.

In Photorefractive Keratectomy, PPK, surgery, which is the other common surgery for eye treatment, flab is not created. It involves the removal of the portion of the surface of cornea .And then use of laser to reshape the cornea. This surgery is preferred by some patients simply because they do not want corneal flab. Some patients with thin corneas are considered best suited by PPK surgery than Lasik surgery. The recovery period is also longer in this surgery as compare to Lasik.

In lasek surgery Laser Eye Surgery in Delhi alcohol is applied to the corneal epithelium to loosen the outmost corneal cells. Then they are moved away for laser treatment.  There is no need to remove them for this surgery. After using laser to reshape the cornea, the sheet of epithelium cells is replaced and contact lens is put to let it heal.  This surgery is can be given to patients of thin cornea

In epi –Lasik surgery the flab is created but it is thinner and made of epithelial tissue.  After creating the flab, a surgeon, moves it aside for using laser to reshape the stroma. The movement of the flab is very small, just enough for the use of laser. The flab is then replaced and covered with contact lens bandages to heal.  Some doctors believe that this surgery is better option because the alcohol is not used and flab exists only in epithelium layer.

Major eye treatment centers in Delhi Eye Treatment Delhi India are equipped with all facilities for surgeries. However the consultation with the best eye surgeon should decide the course of treatment and use of particular surgery.

Lasik surgery procedure and its results

Lasik is surgery which is used to correct farsightedness, nearsightedness and astigmatism. In this surgery, a thin flap is created in the cornea by using blade or laser. The surgeon after folding the flap removes the corneal tissue by using an excimer laser. After removing the tissue, the flab is again put at the same place. In nearsighted the Lasik is done to flatten the cornea while in farsighted the cornea is made steeper. In astigmatism correction, the irregular cornea is given normal shape

Before the start of Lasik, the eye drops are used to prevent any issue during the surgery. Some medication is also given to help a patient to relax. When eyes are under the laser, eyes are kept open by an instrument called lid speculum. The surgeon then marks the cornea with an ink marker. A suction ring is kept at the front of the eye to avoid any loss of contact or eye movement that may affect the quality of the flab.

After creating the flab, the computer is used to adjust the excimer laser for particular prescription of the eye. Here the patient is asked to look at a light for a short time, while doctor watches the eye through a microscope as laser sends pulses of light into cornea. With the help of laser light the cornea is reshaped without much pain. Only some kind of little pressure is experienced in the eye .Lasik is performed on each eye separately.

Patient may feel some burning or itching sensation after the surgery. There may not be immediate clarity of vision, as some haziness and blur vision may continue for short time. But the vision will improve from next day. Normally LASIK Eye Surgery Delhi in all cases the improvement after Lasik is fast .However in rare cases, it may take some weeks to get the clear vision. The patients are also advised not to do any strenuous exercises during the first week after the surgery.  Before driving alone without glasses or contact lens a patient should consult the doctor and should get his or her eye tested. Persons should also avoid swimming, rubbing of eyes for at least one month after surgery.. Doctor may also prescribe some medicine and use of drop for some months.

Some people may use glasses or contact lens but the prescribed number will be far less. Generally Lasik Treatment Delhi it is seen that the vision level of 20/20 is achieved after the Lasik surgery. Some complication, though rare, like night glares, may appear. That is treated by Lasik enhancement to get the desired result. This is done after few months from the main Lasik surgery. In older people the need for reading glasses may remain even after surgery. Swimming, rubbing of eyes,

The best equipped clinics and hospitals have facilities’ to operate the patients on Lasik operations. The patient should try to consult the experienced eye doctors before taking the Lasik surgery.

Different types of LASIK surgery in India and potential risk Associated with them

LASIK is used to replace the cornea under corneal flap. In this process a highly specialized laser is used to treat the refractive errors and improve vision without need for contact lens or glasses. This laser process changes the shape of the cornea, the transparent front covering of the eye.

There are different types of lasers used in treatment. All LASIK surgeries are performed with a particular type of laser, , so in one sense, all LASIK surgeries are same. However, there many laser manufacturers, such as Wavelight, Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, Visx, and Nidek, among others, who have designed different excimer lasers. And then there are different types of laser surgeries that can be performed such as conventional laser treatments and wave front guided treatment.
Conventional LASIK is the removal pattern where the lasers are directly used, based on the glass prescription of the patient. This treatment has fixed parameters for each patient. Though this is effective treatment, but it can causes visuals issues like glare, night vision, glare and halos compare to other treatments. In wavefront optimized, the laser is available on wave light. This treatment is also according to the glass prescription of the patient. But it also has to take into account corneal curvature and thickness.  The laser energy is applied in a unique way in the periphery of the cornea.  This treatment is quite effective in reducing the issues of glare, halos, night visions etc.

Wavefront-guided LASIK is like conventional LASIK, LASIK Eye Surgery Delhi  but in this surgery in addition to treatment of patient’s basic refractive error, precise alterations in a patient's eye are also treated. Before this surgery, the special mapping is done to identify any irregularity in patients’ optical system. If these irregularities are severe, they can affect the vision quality, night vision and contrast sensitivity of the person. But if they are insignificant then this surgery is used and treatment is based on the wavefront map generated.

LASIK is a very effective surgery Eye Treatment Delhi India and has given excellent results for the patients. However, as is the case with any surgery, it has some potential risks. A patient must be aware of these risks before going for LASIK surgery. After single treatment most patients are satisfied with the results of the surgery .But if one surgery is not able to give the result, then second surgery is performed, to sharpen the vision. This is called enhancement, this surgery is done after many months after first surgery. In some rare cases, a patient may not be able to get the enhancement, if his or her cornea is too thin or has got some abnormal shape after first surgery. Therefore the treatment should be done from experienced doctors with advanced facilities at their clinics.  Patients who use   glasses for reading are especially prone to some changes in their vision after LASIK surgery.

Glaucoma and latest methods used in its treatment

The damage to optic nerve of the eye due to intraocular pressure is known as glaucoma. This optic nerve is responsible for making us to see by carrying the image formed on retina to the brain. So when this nerve optic is damage, we cannot see. The damage of nerve optic can be permanent if treatment is not given in time. The damage of entire optic nerve can lead to blindness. And this is one of the main causes of blindness in India. High eye pressure and decreased blood flow can lead to glaucoma. But sometimes persons with normal pressure can also develop the glaucoma

Glaucoma can be dangerous diseases because it can have no symptoms in the initial stages. By the time of its detection, the problem could have damaged the optic nerve. It may have also caused irreversible damage.  It comes slowly and goes up to the point of no return without showing any visible sign.

Lately there have been some advancement in the treatment of the glaucoma .Now there are sophisticated machines, which are able to detect the glaucoma at early stages. This detection happens at the time, when damage to optic nerve is not caused. So with this early detection, onset of glaucoma can be prevented. A new technique involves the use of contact lenses, which measures the eye pressure for 24 hours and gives some indication of the glaucoma. . Some medications have also arrived in the market to treat the glaucoma like symptoms.

The use of laser therapy is also helping to in acute angle closure.  Glaucoma filtrations devices and new kind of values with sophisticated techniques are increasing the option available to cure the glaucoma. The aim of all the treatments is to lower the pressure in the eye and decrease the chances of optic nerve damage. The eye specialist may go for eye drops, increase drainage of fluid from eye or lower the amount of fluid produced in the eye to treat the glaucoma cases.

Traberculoplastry is the laser treatment in which drain function of the eye in increased to control the pressure of eye from within. LASIK Eye Surgery Delhi. Iridology is another laser treatment in, which tiny holes are created in the iris to let eye fluid move out. This laser therapy is used in treatment of narrow angle glaucoma. Since glaucoma must be detected at early stages, the regular testing of eye must be done after 30 years of age. In case of any issue such as redness, irritation or blurring vision, the doctor must be consulted without delay. For people who do not want to keep glasses, doctor can recommend suitable contact lens after testing. Contact Lenses Solution in Noida. Though contact lenses are easily available from the market, an eye specialist must be consulted to get proper suitable lens
